Growing up in such a diverse city as San Diego, I was exposed to a melting pot of different ethnic foods from a very young age. I spent a lot of time in the kitchen with my Nana, mom and Aunties. We baked up all types of sweets and I was always the designated helper, wanting to get my hands dirty with anything the kitchen. As I grew older, baking continued to be one of my passions. Whenever there was a get-together, people always knew I had dessert covered.

Upon graduating, I began a long and tiresome medical career as a Phlebotomist it didn’t take long for me to realize that baking was my true passion. Since high school, I had always been all my friends' first choice when it came to finding someone for baking needs. I've spent endless nights baking cupcakes, cakes, cake pops, anything - you name it!

With much encouragement from my family and friends, in May 2017 I took the plunge and MEARA was no longer a dream, but a reality. "Meara" is my mother's middle name and I decided to name my brand after the woman who taught me all that I know. It’s hard to believe that an idea that started in my tiny kitchen has suddenly turned into an in-demand business with locals tying up the phone lines to request order after order.

I pride myself on being your very own personal dessert delivery service as I deliver locally in Temecula, Murrieta and San Diego County so you can enjoy our sweets anywhere you please! I hope you enjoy my creations and share them with your family and friends. I look forward to baking for you!

My name is Angel. I'm a devoted wife, mother, friend, Phlebotomist and Baker. My days are spent wrestling two young boys, wiping flour off my face and soaking in as many sweet moments as humanly possible with my husband Johnny. I don't mind getting my hands greasy from barbecue, love listening to oldies and occasionally try to sneak in some dancing (former dancer here)! I'm a woman who loves life and making people smile.
